The Forzani Group Foundation continues to raise a majority of its funds through special events across Canada. Every year our events continue to grow in the number of participants and more importantly, in the amount of money that is raised. Here are some of the events that took place:

Sport Chek Mother's Day Run and Walk
Sport Chek Mother's Day Run and Walk is a national event held in Calgary and Edmonton which generates over 20,000 participants and over 1000 volunteers combined. It is a fun-filled event that has become a tradition for Canadians of all fitness levels to run or walk together in celebration of families, health and fitness. Various local charities throughout Canada benefit from this fundraising event.

17th annual Forzani Ironman Golf Invitational
185 golfers and over 55 volunteers took part in a challenging day of golf at the Bearspaw Golf and Country Club in Calgary. Over the last 19 years, the event has raised over 3 Million dollars for Charities!

Calgary Stampeder Golf Tournament
The 5th annual Calgary Stampeder Golf Tournament was held on August 31st at Bearspaw Country Club. A complete 185-golfer sellout in each of its first four years has helped to raise much-needed funding to support Southern Alberta Amateur Football.
